Once again the town was filled with visitors and villagers munching on cherries, with the celebrations of the 122 Bear River Cherry Carnival. From the children’s parade in the morning until the last fireworks, the day was a great success. People caught up with friends and family and it was wonderful to see so many smiling people.

And yes, David Isles won the greased pole event yet again! Congratulations.
A huge round of applause for the Bear River Volunteer Fire department who sponsored the Carnival and put in hundreds of hours of volunteer time. What would we do without them! And yes, we all look forward to the 123’rd celebration next year.
